I started The Complete Approach to truly help make positive changes in my clients lives. I trained in Hypnotherapy, CBP (cognitive behavioural psychology), Master NLP (Neuro linguistic programming), Mindfulness, Life Coaching, Holistic Nutrition, Reiki and Beyond Quantum Healing to be able to offer a holistic view on people’s health.
Why Hypnotherapy and NLP?
There are many talking therapies available, such as psychotherapy, counselling and psychiatry. I chose hypnotherapy and NLP as I felt it has a more proactive approach to helping people. Yes, of course, talking about issues and past trauma can be helpful, however many of my clients comment on saying their treatment felt incomplete when they previously tried just talking therapies. These types of therapies acknowledge and highlight a person’s trauma, but struggle to then help the client move on from it or release the negative emotions attached to it. I love how hypnotherapy and NLP allows me to be creative, communicating with my client’s subconscious, getting to the root of issues or sometimes just changing negative thoughts without any deep exploration into their past. Not everyone wants to sit and discuss their past or their feelings week after week, sometimes they need a plan, to set boundaries, increase their motivation and change their mindset. My therapy sessions are completely unique and are determined by what the client wants that week and what I feel they need to help them. When it is appropriate, I will record the hypnotherapy part of my sessions, so my clients can listen to the recording and the therapy can continue in between sessions.
