What is an Emotional Detox?
An emotional detox is an intense 90 minute hypnotherapy session which allows the client to release all their built-up negative feelings, emotions and past events that they have been holding on to. From the day we are born we go through hundreds of negative and difficult experiences. Most of us are not taught how to move on from these properly, so we hold on to them and they build up.
Eventually all these negative feelings manifest into stress, depression, anxiety, phobias, unwanted habits, feeling inadequate, etc. This emotional detox is great for anyone who needs to remove blockages and gain clarity on their current situation. Our subconscious mind is where our habits, behaviours, phobias, fears, deep past memories and imagination are kept, hypnosis allows us to access this information and therefore change how we feel and respond to it.
An Emotional Detox is some times used as a one off standalone treatment or as a treatment to help kick start a persons healing journey. I personally believe everyone would benefit from an emotional detox at some point in their lives. Trauma can be anything that makes us feel overwhelmed or like our life is in danger, so even if we do not suffer from what is considered to be a ‘big’ trauma, chances are, everyone is holding on to some type of trauma.
